Quality filters

These switches control which releases remain in the picker. Every format starts enabled. Turn off formats your device cannot play, then use Sorting to order the remaining releases. When at least one named switch in a category is on, a recognized value must match an enabled switch; Other / Unknown admits missing or unlisted metadata, not a recognized format you excluded. Titles are parsed into resolution, HDR, audio, and video codec metadata. A release can contain several recognized audio or HDR tags; matching an enabled tag can admit it. If every named switch in one category is off, that category becomes unrestricted for recognized values. Its Other / Unknown switch still controls missing or unlisted metadata. Keep at least one named switch on to exclude the other named formats. Filtering does not transcode or repair a file.52
